In percutaneous coronary angioplasty (PCA), a second high penetrating guide wire is introduced into the blood vessel to ensure that the common guide wire passes through the lesion in patients with difficulty in passing through the lesion. Targeted drug injection can be carried out through the guide chamber when the drug is needed during the operation.
